Dr Alfredo Adam is one of the most relevant professionals in the specialty of ophthalmology, in which he has always maintained a prominent position both in the field of care and in research and teaching. His medical practice has focused on the subspecialties of uveitis and retina, in which he enjoys national and international recognition. Currently, Dr. Adam carries out his professional activity as Head of Ophthalmology Service and director of the Ophthalmology Institute of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and his academic activity as a professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Barcelona. Committed to research, he keeps several lines open about new treatments for pathologies such as uveitis or diabetic retinopathy.
