Biography:
Dr. Rina is an ophthalmologist, lecturer, and researcher at FKUI-RSCM. She earned a medical degree from the University of Indonesia (UI) in 2004. She then continued her specialist education in eye health at UI, completing it in 2009. In 2017, she began earning the title of subspecialist consultant in Eye Infection and Immunology from the Indonesian Ophthalmology Collegium. After that, she received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in ophthalmo-immunology from Erasmus MC University, Netherlands, in 2018. Apart from being active in health services, Dr. Rina is a lecturer at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) and the University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI). She is also active in writing and publishing scientific works in reputable international journals. She has appeared as a speaker at various scientific meetings, such as the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Association of Indonesian Ophthalmologists (PERDAMI), the Asia Pacific Congress of the Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Congress of the International Ocular Inflammation Society. She also plays an active role in various organizations, serving as a member and administrator of PERDAMI, a member and scientific committee member of the Indonesian Ocular Infection and Inflammation Society (INOIIS), an administrator of the Indonesian Eye Bank, as well as a member of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG), and the Indonesian Academy of Young Scientists (ALMI).
