Dr. Manabu Mochizuki, MD, PhD completed residency in ophthalmology at Tokyo University Hospital, assigned Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Tokyo University; Professor & Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, Kurume University; Professor & Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and Emeritus Professor at present. He is a founding member of IOIS, and served as Chairman and General Secretary of the society. He is an active member of IUSG, AUS, ISER and a Gold fellow of ARVO. He was the President of Japanese Ocular Inflammation Society and Japanese Ocular Pharmacological Society, Council of Japan Ophthalmological Society.
