1982-1988: The Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov (diploma with honours, specialisation: pediatrician) 1988-1990: Residency in pediatric ophthalmology  1991-present time: Senior Researcher of eye diseases in Pediatric department in the Helmholtz Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases 1999: Candidate's dissertation: ‘Complications of enteroviral uveitis clinical course and pathogenesis’. My research field: study of endogenous uveitis in children. I use main modern methods of diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases in children. I apply methods of surgical treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal detachment, including vitrectomy, in children with uveitis and other ophthalmic pathology. Annually I conduct more than 150 surgical and 100 laser operations. Author of over 150 scientific papers published in Russia and abroad. Attended vitreoretinal observership in the Associated Retinal Consultants, William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, USA (20.11.2013–19.12.2013). Took part in more than 50 international and Russian congresses in ophthalmology, including: SOE (1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2011), EGC (2000), IOIS (2007, 2009, 2015, 2017), Euroretina (2008), WOC (2010, 2012), EPOS (2012, 2014, 2015), International Symposium on Uveitis (2008, 2012), AAO (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), etc., where presented results of investigations of different aspects of the problem of endogenous uveitis in children.
