Biography:
Assistant Professor Mu has been a member of the School of Biological Sciences at NTU since April 2006. Prior to this role, Mu was awarded the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Fellowship at the same institution from October 2003 to March 2006. Mu's earlier academic pursuits include serving as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Theoretical Chemistry in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where significant contributions were made in biomolecular simulations and dynamics, in collaboration with esteemed professors like G. Stock and Peter Hamm.
Mu also held an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at the Fraunhofer Institute of Integrated Systems and Device Technology in Erlangen, Germany, working with Prof. Heiner Ryssel and Dr. Alex Burenkov on atom-solids interaction simulations. Mu started their academic career as a lecturer in the Department of Photoelectronics at Shandong University, from July 1997 to January 1999.
