Biography:
Dr Dawn Lim is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of Uveitis Service in the Department of Ophthalmology at National University Hospital. In addition to cataract surgery, Dr Lim is also proficient in glaucoma surgery and lasers. She has double sub-specialty interests in the surgical cum medical management of glaucoma and uveitis. An awardee of the coveted Ministry of Health Training Scholarship, she proceeded to complete her specialist training locally followed by a prestigious clinical fellowship with surgical training at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust, London, United Kingdom. Her surgical practice revolves around cataracts, the management of primary glaucomas and secondary glaucomas. She has co-authored scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented her work at international scientific conferences. Dr Lim is also an Assistant Professor of Yong Loo Lin Medical School, National University of Singapore and has contributed multiple book chapters to Ophthalmology texts including Yanoff & Duker.
