Dr. Hazel Oon heads the Psoriasis Unit and Acne Clinic at the National Skin Centre, Singapore. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Oon serves as Medical Advisor to the Psoriasis Association of Singapore, Regional Coordinator for the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA), Chair of the Chapter of Dermatologists in Singapore 2023 – 2025, Skin Research Institute of Singapore (SRIS) scientist, and Executive Committee Member of the Skin Research Society of Singapore. She is also the Clinical Educator Lead for undergraduate dermatology in the three medical schools in Singapore, Principal Lead for dermatology at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and Clinical Lecturer for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr. Oon is the principal investigator in several Phase III biologic trials on psoriasis and hidradenitis and has authored guidelines on psoriasis, acne, and rosacea. Her areas of interest are psoriasis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, rosacea, and photo dermatology.
