Dr. Atitaya Apivatthakakul is an esteemed ophthalmologist with a specialized focus on retina and retina-uveitis, based at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Dr. Apivatthakakul's academic journey and professional training highlight a deep commitment to advancing the field of ophthalmology, particularly within the sub-specialties of retinal diseases and uveitis. After completing her education and training at Prince Royal’s College and acquiring her medical degree (MEDCMU 50) from Chiang Mai University (CMU), Dr. Apivatthakakul further honed her expertise in the complex areas of the retina and retina-uveitis. Her affiliation with the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) at Harvard Medical School (HMS) signifies her engagement with cutting-edge research and clinical practices at a global level, allowing her to bring advanced knowledge and innovative treatments back to her work in Thailand.
