Dr. Nicholas Beare is a distinguished consultant ophthalmologist, renowned for his expertise in medical retina, uveitis, infectious retinal diseases, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and diabetic retinopathy. His groundbreaking research has significantly advanced the understanding of complex conditions such as malarial retinopathy and post-Ebola Syndrome, contributing to the global health effort against the increasing burden of diabetic retinopathy in Africa.
