Biography:
Medical doctor with advanced training in data science, artificial intelligence and health services management. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Visiting scholar at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore, where he has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers and helped establish the PROTON Research Incubator. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad del Rosario, Colombia, where he graduated with high honors. Dr. Rojas-Carabali has also completed postdoctoral research at NYU Langone Health, specializing in advanced ophthalmic imaging. His research focuses on ocular inflammation, AI in medicine, and global health. Additionally, he has received prestigious grants and awards, including the NIH Travel Grant and the ARVO Foundation Fellowship.
