Biography:
Dr Indu Verma, is working as Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
With research experience of almost three decades in the field of tuberculosis, her current research is focused on the diagnostic biomarkers and molecular pathogenesis of various types of extrapulmonary TB. She has 70 research papers,5 chapters and one patent to her credit and executed several projects from national and international funding agencies. She is project reviewer
for national and international funding agencies including MRC, UK and MRC, South Africa. She has received several awards including two-time recipient of Fogarty International AIDS & TB International Training & Research Fellowship, Global Health Travel Award for Keystone meeting, IUIS Scholarship etc.
